Environmental credentials

The Mountain Carousel complex is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Krasnodar region and the planners of the project have a duty to look after the unique natural surroundings. Carring out the project required them to be particularly careful to keep to the ecological standards put in place to safeguard all the biodiversity of the unique environment of Krasnaya Polyana. For this reason, the most stringent possible environmental requirements were marked down from the very beginning as being among the investors’ priorities and all the measures aimed at making it environmentally friendly are being coordinated by the Sochi National Park. All the construction work on the structures comprising the Mountain Carousel is being carried out in full accordance with Russian environmental legislation (The State Environmental Expert Committee gave the project a clean bill of health on December 6th, 2006) and to international environmental safety standards governing projects such as this, as well as drawing on the experience of major alpine ski resorts worldwide.
